At Temple Mill we aim to ensure that in Science all pupils, through physics, biology and chemistry, will learn about the world around them, building up a body of knowledge and concepts as well as gaining valuable working scientifically skills.  We want to ensure that Science is a practical lesson and that pupils are taught to use and apply their science knowledge. 

Children will be encouraged to ask questions, predict, analyse and explain in a safe working environment where curiosity is key. The enthusiasm and enjoyment of scientific learning and discovery will be planned within a themed topic to provide a creative scheme of work and balanced programme of study.
